Where to begin? Webelos Woods is one of the biggest adventures you can have as a Cub Scout. It’s for the new Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts each year…the ones that are getting ready to move on into Scouts, and it gives all the Cubs involved a taste of what Scout Camp is like. It’s even held up at Camp Morrison, in McCall, Idaho…the same location that our local Council has its summertime week-long Scout Camps.
There are flag ceremonies and campfires, climbing walls, nature walks, shooting sports (archery, slingshots, and .22 rifles), games, food, fun, singing, walking sticks, t-shirts, and so much more. If you’re a cub scout who’s not yet in 4th grade, this is what you have to look forward to!
